This fusion of puppetry, storytelling and performance is exploring the relationship between women and serpents.

In a solo-duet the multidisciplinary artist and puppeteer Anne-Friné Steiger and her giant knitted snake revive mythological stories, investigate anatomy and awaken kundalini. In this wild and tender play horror and humor are meeting each other and are challenged by desire and fear.

Shadding the old skin is a transformative process and until the dance can begin, the snake needs to grow. So SHE is knitting a thread in circles round and round, like the thread of life is spun in endless rounds of coming and becoming till the universe is swallowing itself up like an ouroboros.
